I must admit that I am a little biased when it comes to players from smaller schools. I really enjoy reading about players that come from small schools that make it to the big leagues or at least pro-ball. I also have to show some love for players in Texas and for players that play in the Texas Collegiate League. There is little or no press coverage for the TCL, so this is my way of helping out.
Prospect Watch! Michael Gunter (Angelo State) is off to a great year for the Rams. He currently is 5-2 with a 3.88 ERA. He will play his summer ball for the Mckinney Marshals of the Texas Collegiate League.
