Casey Whitmer (Florida State) will be playing for the Brazos Valley Bombers of The Texas Collegiate League this summer. Whitmer is an outstanding true freshman for the Seminoles. Casey has seen pitched in 12 innings, while compling an ERA of 4.50. Casey was drafted by the D’Backs in the 35th round of the 2006 MLB Draft. Brazos Valley is compiling a roster full of great players. They should be very fun to watch this season.
