Two UC Irvine Anteaters will be playing for the Anchorage Bucs of the Alaskan Summer League. Freshman Christain Bergman and Luis Tovar will be making the trek up from California to Alaska. Christain will be returning for his second season with the Bucs. He was 0-2 with the Bucs last summer.
Luis Tovar is an outstanding freshman infielder from Yuma, Az. Luis was named by Baseball America as one of the nations top 100 freshman. Luis is currently batting .308. He was seen action in 10 games for the Anteaters.
Christain Bergman is a freshman pitcher from Altadena, CA. Christain has made 7 appearances for UC Irvine this season.

Ryan Hinson (Clemson) is having a great 2007. He is currently 2-1 with an ERA of 2.23. He also has 35 strikouts in 44 innings pitched. Ryan will play his 07 summer ball for the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod League.
