The La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League have a very talented outfielder returning this summer. Jimmy Viscomi from Evansville will return for his second stint with the Loggers.
The Loggers were able to interview Jimmy earlier this week.

Catching up with Demel!

Sam Demel is one of my favorite college ballplayers. Sam is a star reliever for the TCU Horned Frogs. At a recent game, Sam took the time to chat with my son and I, and to autograph a couple of homemade cards for us. I couldn’t really interview him, but we did talk about his playing in the Cape Cod League for Falmouth. He apparently had a great time.
Sam is off to another hot start this season. He is 4-1 with a 2.45 ERA. He also has 5 saves for the Frogs. Most scouting reports say that he will be a very good pro player.
