Sophomore Wes Williams from Eckord College will be taking his solid game to play for the Morganton Aggies of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League. Eckord College is a Division II school in Florida. Three former Triton’s have made it to the big leagues. Joe Lefebrve, Steve Balboni and Jim Mecir all played at Eckord college. Wes Williams will hope to be the fourth Triton to make it to the Show.
Wes is a sophomore outfielder from Morganton, NC. Currently he is .341/.474/.451 on the season. He has 2 homers and 22 RBI’s this year. He is also leading the team with 10 doubles.
